Well I have lots of time to make my first blog entry because I took a sick day from work and missed Church. I can't blame the game, because I was sick before sitting in the cold stadium. But I think that the game helped my cold reach its full potential.
I hope that everyone had a good time. I officially announce Kory, Charisse, and Sarah as the toughest BYU fans in the family. But it reminded me of a Survivor win (the TV show). The kind of challenge where all the contestants are put in a horrible situation or position, and the last person standing wins. And as soon as the win is guaranteed, the winner quits as well. Because only mili-seconds passed after Natalie and I stood up, that Kory, Charisse, and Sarah leaped from their seats like bottle-rockets, and proudly declared themselves "WINNERS!"
However, I want to thank Heather and Brian, for fighting past the peer pressure and being the first people to stand up. Without them standing up, I think we all would have sat there even longer in the snow, and become colder and colder and colder.
By the time Natalie and I were able to get to our car we looked like snowmen. And I was not happy that the minute the game was over, the snow stopped falling.
I hope everyone had fun. It is always fun for Natalie and I to get together with everyone. This year I feel spoiled. I have gotten to see most of you about twice as often as normal. And with Charisse getting married, I will get to see you even more. It will be fun to see you all even more at the wedding and for Thanksgiving.
Don't be surprised if you all get numerous e-mails about this blog. Considering all the e-mail problems that we have had, I will be sending an email to all of you, from all of my e-mail addresses to make sure you get it.
I will try and keep this blog updated pretty often. We will see how I do!
