Normal Again???

Well CIT training is over. Yay! It was hard stuff. I am not good at listening to lectures from Doctors, Psychologists, and social workers. This last week I found myself having to put a lot of mental effort into retaining information. So if I was grouchy to you in any way, I am sorry.

Last night, Natalie and I went out for a date night. Natalie was gracious enough to eat at Maddox for the date night. I looooove their prime rib. I gorged myself. I figure by the time I carved all the fat off of my 16 oz. slab of meat, there was still a good 12 ounces to eat.

Between that and the shrimp bowl, I definitely left more rotund than I entered. Following the dinner we went and saw a movie. We saw, The Bee Movie.

We saw this movie because it was between Fred Clause and The Bee Movie. Usually before the movie I will listen to Doug Wright's movie reviews from KSL.com, and see what he thinks. (I find that his and my opinion are pretty similar.) Well the thing that stuck out in the Fred Clause movie review, was about how many inappropriate things were snuck into the movie. So, our decision was made, and two adults, without any kids with them, walked into the animated movie. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The movie was really fun. It is from the mind of Jerry Seinfeld. And those who know me, know that I love Seinfeld. There is tons of Seinfeld humor in the movie. There were many laugh out loud moments in the movie. I think I may be a bit twisted, because there were a few times that I would laugh, and then realize that I was the only one laughing in the entire theater.

Yes that's right, I am one of THOSE people now. I don't know when it happened, but it did. I used to find myself shaking my head at "THOSE" people, and thinking, "What in the world could they possibly find funny about that? So its official, I am crazy. And I have a CIT certification to officially determine that.

Today is winterize the yard day. Cleaning the yard, mowing the lawn, taking down the tramps, all the bikes to the basement, ect. This weekend will be interesting. I am now starting the process of switching my body to grave yards. That means today will be a 24 hour day. Basically I will try and take a nap sometime today (if available). Tonight I will utilize caffeine and sugar highs to keep my body awake. With the assistance of TV and video games, I will push on till morning. Over the next two days, I will get a bit sleep deprived, until my body gets to the point that it is forced to sleep longer into the day. The goal is to get sleep time moved to about 9 to 5 (or 6, if I get to sleep in).

This morning I got up early so that I could take Brian out for a father son activity. On Friday, it was the Doughnuts with Dad activity at Brian's school. We weren't able to go, because I was at school. So rather than a single doughnut. I took Brian to the grocery store and let him pick out a dozen doughnuts for the family. He was extra careful about making sure that every member of the family had the kind of doughnut that they like. He is at a primary activity with Natalie right now. But for the most part of the day he will have to stay inside. Starting Thursday, He started complaining of having a sore throat and being sick. Yesterday, he was pretty much down for the count. This morning I think he could have been on his death bed and pretended to be OK so he could go buy doughnuts, and go to his activity. I hope he starts feeling better. Its no fun to be sick.

Love the post! I was laughing out loud at your Bee movie story. I can totally picture it. I am glad you liked it because Brian and I want to go see it too. Now we have our own personal review. Our kids are just getting over sicknesses too. I am just glad that they got them now because then hopefully they will be better for the wedding.
