Twas the week before Christmas

With only a week until Christmas we have been extremelly busy. On Sunday we travelled to Coalville for a Fuhriman Family Christmas party. There was even a special visitor. The kids were very excited to see Santa. Can't you tell how excited Kallie is?

The good news is that Kallie asked Santa for the gift that will be under the tree for her. Kallie loves oranges!

Brian enjoyed his visit with Santa as well. The paper Santa is holding (with the assistance of parents) has a list of the things the kids are doing to be nice, and a few naughty things they are doing that are saving them place on the naughty list. Hopefully this will inspire them to try harder.

The good news is that the gift Brian asked for was purchased by Grandma and Grandpa Marchant. Since he can't read I am not in danger of spoiling the suprise, Brian is getting, "An ambulance with lights and buttons". It is like the police car in the post underneath this. Except it has more lights, and for the benefit of his parents sanity, it says different things than the police car.

For our Family Home Evening yesterday, we visited Temple Square. It was a very cold day. And both Natalie and I think that temple square keeps shrinking as we get older. It seemed to take a whole lot longer to see everything when we were kids. We enjoyed being near the temple, and finished the night off at the kid's favorite resturaunt, Chili's.

We were lucky enough to run across someone nice enough to take our picture, so we could have a family memory from being there.

Kallie wouldn't hold still at all, she was like a humming bird on a sugar high. While her pose could be cute (her choice), I am not scared of her attracting anybody with the "I will eat you look" on her face.

This picture was taken by my beautiful wife. All the pictures I took ended up being blurry. She credits the temple for the beauty. I say its her mad skills. Think how good it could be if she had a decent camera. It was nice when the kids commented on how much fun they had the next day.
