A special day for a special girl

Well I am typing this two days later than I wanted to, but life just wasn't cooperating. On April 28th, our sweet Ms. Kallie Kay turned 4 years old! What an exciting day. She definitely realized it was her birthday, and proudly displayed four fingers to anyone who asked about it. She was very excited about her special day.

She will probably never realize how smart she was. But she managed to not tell her parents about any of the things she wanted to get, except for one thing. Then after mom and dad went out and got her birthday shopping done, she then started spouting off all the things she wanted. Some might call us suckers, but I prefer loving parents. Because we wanted her to have the things she wanted, we went out to fill the wish list. Needless to say she got the mother load.

Natalie took her for a picnic at the park for lunch. And then of course she got her birthday dinner. I am sure anyone that has had more than a 5 minute conversation with her, could guess her pick. Chili's of course. In fact for a week previous to the birthday, all we heard about was pizza and corn on the cob.

Natalie and I have a phrase we use when discussing how the kids eat. The phrase is, "a Bear day". When we use this phrase we are referring to how a bear will eat and eat in preparation for hibernation. It was Kallie's bear day because she ate and ate and ate at Chili's. She is so funny.

So in honor of our princess I thought I would post a few pictures of Kallie, showing her four years with us on Earth.

Her First Birthday

Baby blessing day

One of my very favorite pictures. Such cute toes

After a very tragic accident. What a powerful witness of the power of the priesthood and the miracles that our Heavenly Father can perform. We are so grateful for this blessing. As you can see in the following pictures you can't tell she was burnt at all.

A close up from our Disneyland trip. Even though she was only two years old, she remembers every detail.

Looking so old. Sooooo cute!

And this is on her 4th birthday. The mother load is behind her, she loves her new boots for her baby Journey.

Kallie we love you.

I cannot believe I missed this post. I was checking to see if you had any new ones and I scrolled to the bottom and saw this. Happy Birthday Kallie. Meg has a present for Kallie. Just a couple days ago I realized I missed her birthday so I looked back at our calendar and couldn't find the exact date anywhere. Sorry and Happy Birthday Kallie. You are such a beautiful girl.
